Early practical help, and food donations ever since.
Portadown Wellness Centre supports people experiencing mental ill health, addiction, loneliness, isolation and other challenges. Its approach combines compassionate emotional support with opportunities to learn, connect and build confidence.
The Centre offers professional counselling and a wide variety of activities, including arts and crafts, gardening, pottery, cookery, woodwork, meditation, yoga and walking groups. These activities are designed to encourage wellbeing, connection and a renewed sense of purpose. People should contact the Centre directly for current availability.
When Memories Dementia Café was taking its first steps, Portadown Wellness Centre provided a welcoming venue and valuable practical support. That early generosity gave the project room to grow. The Centre continues to help with food donations, and its commitment to reducing isolation closely reflects our own.
Portadown Wellness Centre is based at 31–37 Armagh Road, Portadown. For enquiries about its services, telephone 07545 373 413.
